COMMUNITY SAUNA!

Community Sauna + Cold Plunge

Join us for a 60- or 100-minute session in our wood-fired saunas with refreshing cold-water plunges between rounds.

  • 60 minutes = 2–3 hot/cold cycles.
  • 100 minutes = 4+ cycles, with time to socialize or linger at your own pace.

    Time flies—go by feel, not the clock.

How it works

  • Start in the sauna (~200ºF) or jump straight into the cold water.
  • Most people stay 10–20 minutes per round, sometimes stretching to 25–30 once acclimated. The longer you go cold, the longer it takes to warm back up (and vice versa). Listen to your body and step out before it stops feeling good.
  • Cool off in the lake, breathe, rehydrate, repeat until your time is up!
  • A bucket + ladle are by the door—one scoop every 5–10 minutes keeps the steam flowing (löyly = burst of steam on the rocks).
  • Capacity is 6-7 per sauna. You can move between them while both are running. During the short buffer, we may ask everyone to share one sauna so we can sanitize the other.

Bring

  • Bathing suit (avoid metal clasps/zippers).
  • Beach towel.
  • Change of warm dry clothes for after (bath robes & ponchos are a pro move)
  • Plenty of water &/or electrolyte drink.
  • Sandals/Crocs for walking to the water (no shoes in sauna).
  • Optional: neoprene socks/surf boots for cold feet (highly recommended in winter months!)

We provide

🔥 Saunas at 200–220ºF (upper benches = hottest, lower = gentler with a lake view).
🧢 Sauna hats + seat towels.
🚿 Private changing tent(s) with light, mats, stool.
💧 Complimentary LMNT electrolyte drink.
📸 Photos/videos on request (@saunaty_mi).
🪑 Benches & totes for coats, clothes, phones, etc.

Safety & Etiquette

  • Essential oils (eucalyptus, peppermint, lemon) may be used in steam—tell us if you’re sensitive.
  • 100% oxygen exchange every ~4 minutes, CO detector always present.
  • Saunas sanitized between groups; fire safety equipment on site.
  • Skip perfumes/lotions; fresh sweat only.
  • Jewelry, glasses, and phones don’t mix with sauna heat.
  • Rinse sandy feet before re-entering.

Timing & Booking

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early (earlier to plunge/swim first if you like).
  • 20-minute buffer between sessions for cleaning/reset.
  • Register with full legal names; add friends/family at checkout.
  • Waiver required (digital or on-site).
  • Payment: Due at registration.
  • Cancellation: Cancel 24+ hours in advance for a full refund.
  • Private sessions: Book all 12 seats or contact us for a block.
  • Credit packs available for savings. Visit often & $ave!
